Frequently Asked Questions

What is the GSK Pharmacy portal?

The GSK Pharmacy Portal is a tool to allow retail pharmacy customers to manage their trading deals with GSK. These can be either direct deals with GSK or those accessed through membership of a buying group scheme.

Who can use the portal?

The portal is for two groups of retail pharmacy customers:

  • 1) Customers who currently have a trading deal directly with GSK
  • 2) Customers who are a member of either Numark or Cambrian Alliance buying group schemes of GSK products
  • I do not have a trading deal with GSK. Can I register to use the portal?

You need to have a current trading deal with GSK, or be a member of the GSK scheme through Numark or Cambrian Alliance, to register on the portal.

If you are a customer with 1-8 branches:

  • GSK has partnered with the largest buying groups in the UK, providing access to a wider range of GSK UK branded pack deals at more competitive prices. It no longer offers direct trading deals to independent pharmacies with 8 or fewer branches.
  • Independent pharmacies with 8 or fewer branches should contact Numark, Cambrian Alliance, Pharmacy One or Avicenna for more information.
  • If you are a customer with 9 or more branches:

  • Please give us your contact details, via the Contact Us page, including the name and postcode of your Pharmacy chain and an Account Manager will contact you to discuss the deals we have available.
  • What information do I need to register on the portal and where do I find it?

If you are a Buying Group member, you will need the following information to register on the portal:

  • Your name and email address
  • A wholesaler number for at least one of the pharmacies/outlets that you manage. This can be the number given to you by Phoenix, Alliance or AAH.
  • The postcode for the same pharmacy/outlet

  • If you have a trading deal directly with GSK, you will need the following information to register on the portal:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your Pharmacy’s Account number as printed on your monthly financial statement
  • Your Pharmacy’s Postcode as printed on your monthly financial statement
  • Please contact your Account Manager if you need a copy of your financial statement.

How many characters/numbers/special characters are needed to set a password?

12 characters. This needs to include at least one of each of the following; upper and lower case letters, numbers and special characters

I have registered my details but not received the confirmation email?

Please check your junk folder. If you cannot locate it, please review your firewall settings and then contact GSK using the details in the Contact Us page so that we can arrange for the email to be resent.

Who do I contact if I have any questions relating to the portal?

If your question relates to a technical issue with the portal, please contact GSK using the Live Chat or Email details available on the Contact Us page.

If your question relates to your commercial deal, for example target volumes or payment of rebates:

  • If you are a Buying Group member, please contact your buying group directly
  • If you have a trading deal directly with GSK, please contact your aligned GSK Account Manager, or use the details in the Contact Us page.
